British Columbia is unique in that it has the sophistication and atmosphere of Vancouver, one of my favorite cities, sitting along side some of the most beautiful country you will ever see. Approximately 367,660 square miles of impressive natural landscape compromise British Columbia, the westernmost and the third largest Canadian province.
There are an absolute ton of campgrounds you can stay at when camping in British Columbia. For simplicity sake, the region is broken down into 8 general camping areas: Vancouver Island, Lower Mainland, Thompson-Nicola, Kootemay, Cariboo, Skeena, Ommeca-Peace and Okmagan. All offer something a bit different, but here is a list of the more popular places to consider when camping in British Columbia:

Kootenay National Park, Yoho National Park, Jasper National Park, and Banff National Park are the four contiguous mountain parks most people head for when camping in British Columbia. There is also a coastal route called the Inside Passage connecting the Alaska Panhandle with coastal British Columbia if you are looking for something a little closer to the ocean.
