Sport fishing in Alaska can take place in any of the three major areas of Alaska – the Southcentral, Interior and Southeast areas. The Southcentral area offers most of the different types of sport fishing in Alaska that are available, from Northern Pike fishing and ice fishing, to Pacific Halibut and tidepool fishing. These different types of fishing available in just one area make the Southcentral area a great place to take your fishing trip.
