Copenhagen is the biggest and best-known city of Denmark. With famous attractions such as Tivoli Gardens, the longest pedestrian walkway in Europe and epic royal palaces, the city simply is a pleasure. And it has two breweries!
The Tuborg and Carlsberg beverage companies each have brewery in Copenhagen. Tours can be taken of each brewer and, at last count, Carlsberg offered a free tasting at the end of the tour. As to Tuborg, you need to keep an eye out if you buy the beer. The bottles are universally dark green, but an occasionally light green one is packaged. Pick this bottle and you’ll have good luck all day according to the Danes!
