The NASA space camp is offered for children ages 9 to 11. Enthusiasm and interest in space is promoted through high tech simulations and experiments as only NASA can do them. Activities are undertaken in the fields of robotics, mission simulations and rocket building. Camps are available on a three and six day basis. The six day session ads activities in actual astronaut training, science history and space craft dynamics all taking place from the campers simulated home on Mars.

12 to 14 year old campers can participate in the NASA space academy. The academy covers the subjects in the NASA space camp, but the program is more interactive give the more mature physical stature of the campers. The programs also run longer with six and eight day space camps.

Working together, the family will experience what it is like to undergo astronaut training, form a team and generally learn about space. NASA also offers advanced space camps for adults, older teens and corporate events.
